Why does the background look like a checkerboard?
The checkerboard only marks the transparent areas on screen. The PNG you download has no background at all.
Can I save a transparent JPG?
No. JPG has no transparency, so choose PNG. If you need a JPG, pick a white or custom colour background instead.
