How it works
- Choose a photo. It stays on your phone or computer.
- Set the strength. To hide one part, tick Only an area and drag the box over it. Tap Add another area for a second one.
- Download. Outside the areas, the pixels stay as they were.

How do I blur only a face or a number plate?
Tick Only an area, drag the box over the face or plate, and drag a corner to resize it. Tap Add another area to hide a second part.
Is blur safe for hiding ID or card numbers?
A light blur on text can sometimes be undone. For card, account or ID numbers, use a strong blur or pixelate with large blocks, and check the preview before you share.
Does the rest of the photo change?
In a PNG, the pixels outside the areas stay identical. A JPG is saved again at quality 92, which changes the rest only invisibly.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The blur is worked out in your browser, and the photo never leaves your device.
