Questions
Why PNG and not JPG?
PNG keeps transparency and loses nothing more, which suits logos, stickers and graphics you will edit again. For photos going to a form, JPG is smaller and more widely accepted.
Why is the PNG larger than the WebP?
WebP compresses much harder. PNG stores every pixel exactly, so the file grows, especially for photos.
Is it free?
Yes. Up to 5 images at a time are free, with no sign-up and no watermark. To convert any number in one go, get a one-time 24-hour image converter pass (US$1.49).
Are my images uploaded?
No. Each image is converted inside your browser and never leaves your device. Converting also drops hidden metadata such as the GPS location.
