WebP to JPG

Images saved from websites often arrive as WebP, which many upload forms and older apps reject. Convert them to JPG here, on your device. If the portal also sets a KB limit, use the exact-KB resizer next.

How it works

Step by step

  1. Choose or drop your WebP images. They stay on your phone or computer.
  2. Each one is converted to JPG, right in your browser. Move the quality slider to trade size for detail.
  3. Download the file, or one ZIP when you convert several. Up to 5 at a time are free.

Questions

Why did my image save as WebP?

Many websites serve WebP because it is small. When you save the image, your browser keeps the format the site sent.

Will I lose quality?

A little, as with any JPG. At the default quality of 92 the difference is hard to see. Move the slider to 100 for the most detail.

What about animated WebP?

Only the first frame is converted, because a JPG holds one still image.

Is it free?

Yes. Up to 5 images at a time are free, with no sign-up and no watermark. To convert any number in one go, get a one-time 24-hour image converter pass (US$1.49).
