Step by step
- Choose a photo. It is never uploaded.
- Set the block size. To pixelate one part, tick Only an area and drag the box over it. Tap Add another area for more.
- Download. Outside the areas, the pixels stay as they were.
Questions
How big should the blocks be to hide text?
Make each block at least as tall as the letters. Smaller blocks can leave text readable, so check the preview before you share.
Should I pixelate or blur?
Pixelating with large blocks hides details such as numbers more reliably. Blur looks softer and suits backgrounds and faces.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The pixelation runs in your browser, and the photo never leaves your device.
