Why your photo or signature upload gets rejected (and the fix)

1. The file is too small

“File size must be at least 10 KB” trips up a lot of people who compressed too hard. Set Min KB in the resizer. If the photo is naturally tiny, we pad the file up to the minimum without changing the picture.

2. The file is too big

Set Max KB to the limit. We aim just under it in both the 1000-byte and the 1024-byte reading of a KB.

3. Wrong format

Most portals want JPG or JPEG. PNG, HEIC and WebP get rejected. Everything we export is a real JPG.

4. Wrong dimensions

If the form says 200 × 230 px, a 201 × 230 image can fail. Type the exact numbers in Width and Height.

5. Background or face problems

Visa and NTA forms check for a plain light background, a centred face, no glasses glare and a recent photo. A resizer can’t fix lighting, so retake the photo against a white wall in daylight.

6. Signature looks grey

Turn on “Clean signature” so the paper becomes white and the ink dark. See the signature guide.
