Name and date on photo: which exams need it and how to add it

Some notices ask for the candidate’s name and the date the photo was taken to be printed on the photograph. Among the forms we track, this applies to UPSC, NEET UG, JEE Main and CUET UG. Check your own notice.

How it should look

It should be a white strip at the bottom of the photo with your name in capitals and the date (DD-MM-YYYY) underneath, in plain black text, with the face still clearly visible above it.

Adding it

The form kit adds the strip automatically, keeps the official pixel size and lands inside the KB window. If you add it yourself in another app, re-check the KB size afterwards, because editing changes the file size.
